Visa Requeriments

Here's information on the basic requirements for entering Panama, as well as comprehensive information on visas - what they are, who needs them, and when, where and how to apply for them.

Please take note: This information is meant to serve as a guide only. Requirements for entry into Panama differ from country to country, are subject to change, and each application is treated as an individual case. Always make inquiries before travelling to Panama.

NOTE: these lists changes constantly, if your country of origin or nationality appears on the list, you should contact your nearest Panamanian Consulate to verify that the information is updated.

The relevant application form appears at the end of the list of countries. Please print this out, complete and return to the Consulate of Panama.

The applications for countries that do not need authorised visas will be ready within 24 hours. However applications needing authorisation from Immigration Security in Republic of Panama will take around or over 30 working days depending on the country.
