  • All delegates, must register with full remittance fee.
• All delegates are required to register for the main congress before they qualify to register for any pre or post congress workshops.
• Registration will not be confirmed until the requisite registration fee and documentation have been received by JCI.
• Use a separate form for each registrant. Photocopies of the registration form can be made for additional delegates.
 

• A letter of confirmation will be sent to you via e-mail or fax (if no e-mail address is supplied) or via mail (if no e-mail or fax number is supplied) within 4-5 days of receipt of your registration.
• This confirmatory acknowledgement must be produced at the registration desk in Fukuoka for issue of registration documents at the congress.
• By registering in advance, you will avoid delays at on-site registration.
• Registered accompanying persons will each receive a complimentary ticket to the Opening Reception, as well as complimentary use of the Guest Hospitality Suite. Admittance to the Hospitality Suite is by badge only.
• Accompanying persons may pre-register for Optional tours.

FEE:
Early congress registration is only US$ 350.00
Payments must be received at JCI Headquarters no later than September 30, 2004, to be considered as early registration.
After this date registration fee is US$ 400.00
Cancellations/Refunds:
• Request for refund of registration fee due to cancellation must be made in writing and sent by WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 31, 2004 to :

• A refund of the registration fee, less 25% administration charge, will be granted for cancellation, provided a written notice is received by the JCI Finance Department on or before DECEMBER 31, 2004.
• JCI will be unable to entertain requests received after this date.

• Pre-Registration Deadline is OCTOBER 22, 2004. Delegates who wish to register after this deadline, will have to register on-site when they arrive at congress in Fukuoka.

Payment:
• All registration fees must be paid in US Dollars by credit card or wire transfer. Registrants bear all bank charges. Payment should be net of bank charges.
• If payment is made using a wire transfer, please send a copy of the wire transfer transaction together with your registration form to:

Letter of Invitation:
Visa Invitation Letters for the 2004 JCI World Congress
Visa Invitation Letters will be issued upon requests made only by National Presidents (or Secretaries General acting on their behalf). No individual requests will be processed.

Members who need visas must contact their National Presidents and complete the online Congress registration form. The Finance Department must have received the applicant's full registration fee for the request to be processed.

National Presidents must send the following information regarding members requesting a letter to Growth and Development Assistant Jessica Daetz, jdaetz@jci.cc no later than October 15, 2004:

- Full Name as it appears on passport
- Date of Birth
- Country of Origin
- Passport Number
-Issue Date of Passport
- Expiration Date of Passport.

National Organizations shall submit only one list containing the names and information regarding all potential delegates. Be advised that the visa processing period in most countries will average three weeks, so every National Organization is encouraged to begin the process of building its list of potential delegates now.

Only requests for invitation letters submitted before October 15, 2004 will be acted upon. After verifying that both the National Organization and the listed members are in good standing, the JCI Headquarters will forward all requests to the Congress Organizing Committee for action.

• An official letter will be sent upon request from the National President and to the National President only.
•The invitation is intended to facilitate participant’s travel and visa arrangements only.
• The Invitation letter will be issued by Fukuoka COC with previous approval from JCI..
• It is in no way implies the provision of any support, financial or otherwise.
• JCI has to receive your registration in full and your National President has to approve your name as a member in good standing before consider to issue a letter of invitation.

Liability/Disclaimer:
• JCI and the Congress Organizing Committee shall not be held responsible for personal accidents, illness, losses or damage to private property or registered delegates of the 59th World Congress. Delegates are advised to arrange for their personal insurance for the duration of the congress and tours.
• While every attempt will be made to ensure that all aspects of the congress mentioned in this announcement will take place as scheduled, the Congress Organizing Committee reserves the right to make last minute changes should the need arise without prior notice.

No Smoking Policy:
• Smoking is not permitted at any official World Congress event.

• All fees can be found on the individual Registration Form included in this announcement.

Attention Speakers & Sessions Chairpersons:
• Complimentary registration will not be provided for one-day speakers. All speakers and sessions chairpersons must register at the applicable registration fee.
